Galilee Business Hub

Region-wide initiative designed to provide comprehensive support to businesses in northern Israel and create the basis for long-term economic and community resilience.

The physical damage and extended evacuation of northern Israel during the war have severely undermined the region’s social and economic resilience, creating an unprecedented challenge. Recovery is slow; not everyone has come back, and the business activity is well below its pre-war level. There is an urgent need for infrastructure that can support and sustain a growing local economy: an integrated cross-sector system that will allow businesses not only to recover from the crisis but also to flourish and prosper into the future.

To meet this challenge, Rashi and other foundations along with the local authorities of the region have joined forces with partners from the public and business sectors to establish and lead the Business Hub. This is a region-wide initiative designed to provide comprehensive support to small and midsize enterprises in the Eastern and Western Galilee. It aims to serve as a single point of contact for businesses, from post-crisis recovery to growth and innovation, while creating a supportive environment that fosters long-term economic and community resilience.

The Business Hub aims to assist all businesses under the government’s decision for the rehabilitation of the north. Its primary target audience consists of small and midsize businesses, which bear the main weight of rebuilding the regional economy, and therefore are crucial for successful recovery. It serves as a “one-stop shop” for local businesses, focusing on three key areas:

Individual business support for small and medium enterprises — realizing rights, developing business plans, improving marketing processes, operational consulting, legal and accounting support, and more.
Policy and resource alignment — translating field needs into policy and budget allocation through ongoing communication with municipalities and government agencies.
Private sector partnerships — driving economic development by attracting new companies to the region, expanding existing business activity, creating incentives, and fostering a supportive ecosystem for entrepreneurship.
